The annual Ohio Conference of the Methodist Church meets in Cincinnati starting Tuesday August 30 with Bishop Lester H. Smith presiding. For the first time laymen may attend all sessions on matters affecting the church. The Ohio Conference, the largest in the world, includes 11 districts and about 735 members in southern and western Ohio.
