Glouster village council passed an emergency ordinance restricting rubbish disposal to residents within the village limits. Previously nonresidents with property inside could use the dump. the new rule directs outsiders to seek other disposal means.
Mrs Wagener was honored at a Friday luncheon at Burr Oak Lodge hosted by friends. The event featured summer flower centerpieces and a group of attendees, including Mrs Mayold Vaughn and Mrs Richard Guinther. A gift was presented to Mrs Wagener, and the Wagners plan to move to Fort Myers Florida soon.
Glouster hosts Kiwanis Monday at Hotel Gordon and church groups meet midweek with youth programs. Trimble area Jaycees meet Thursday at the K P building. Past Noble Grands and Rebekah picnic set for Thursday in Memorial Park with a covered dish. Oakdale Friendship Circle August meeting at Martha Harry’s home. Charles Mulpas back from University Hospital Columbus after treatment and can receive visitors.
