A N Ward 72 of Nelsonville former resident died Tuesday morning after a long illness. Born in Mingo West Virginia he came to Ohio from West Virginia and served 30 years as superintendent of the New York farm at Floodwood and was active in the York Grange. He later ran a small Athens grocery before moving to Dayton in the 1940s. Survived by son Clarence and daughter Erma Duteil both of Dayton, sisters Noralear and Mrs Sam, brother Walter, two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. Funeral 1 p.m. Friday Johnson funeral home burial Green Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call anytime.
