Primary Elections Held by Athens County Republicans 1882
The Athens County Republican Central Committee schedules primary elections Friday August 1 1882 at usual polling places to nominate Recorder surveyor Commissioner and Infirmary Director plus elect Central Committeemen. Polls open 1 pm to 6 pm. qualified Republicans only. Voting by township precinct. supervision and oath procedures outlined with judges clerks and ballot handling. Results to be reported to the Republican Central Committee at the August 19 ratification meeting in Athens.
