Republican Primary Election in Athens County

The Athens County Republicans announce a primary on August 15 1882 to nominate candidates for Recorder, Surveyor, Commissioner, and Infirmary Director. Township centers elect a Central Committeeman. polls open 1 to 6 pm. Only qualified Republicans may vote. Supervisors appoint two Judges and two Clerks. Returns due at the August 19 ratification meeting in Athens.
