Quintuplets Born In Ontario Rescue Efforts At Home
In Corbeil Ontario on May 28 1934 five Dionne quintuplets survived birth. Dr Dafoe helped deliver them in a makeshift birthing space as nurses and neighbors aided mother Mrs Dionne and the father. Incubators from Chicago and Red Cross support followed as the babies gained weight and one required a radium tumor treatment.
