Bridge Work Underway on Route 690
County crews are building a new bridge on State Route 690 between Canaanville and Route 50A as part of a road relocation project. The old bridge was too narrow for further use and about 300 feet of roadway near the bridge will be straightened with berm and ditch work to follow. The total cost will be known in two weeks, and the bridge should be completed then. The new structure will offer a much better approach than the old one.
