Meigs County Tax Revenues Seen Shrinking This Year
POMEROY April 27 The county auditor says personal property tax revenues will be much lower this year. Villages school districts and some special taxing districts face losses under the new tax law despite a license tax boost now aiding towns. Intangible tax gains are not offsetting the shortfall, and Meigs County may see no real relief as pooling and redistribution fail to cover the losses.
