Pirates fall to Cubs as Kuhl exits early in 14-3 loss

In a lopsided game at PNC Park the Pirates defense faltered repeatedly. Chad Kuhl lasted 2/3 inning allowing eight hits and nine runs as Chicago built a 10-1 lead. Errors lingered, outfield depth shrank with Adam Frazier on the DL, and Dovydas Neverauskas debuted as the Lithuanian-born reliever.
