Dear Ladies, readers ask about stretching tight shoes using rubbing alcohol. Mrs. Charlotte M. Jenks of Mason West Virginia serves as recorder clerk and treasurer of Mason, secretary treasurer of the Water and Sewer Departments, and secretary of the Mason Sanitary Board. The 7 36 p.m. event occurs in the Methodist Church educational building with invitations to Region 1T director, county garden clubs members, and community residents.
Alpha Gamma Delta held Reunion Day in the Baker Center ballroom with Dr. Wurtz delivering "Women in the Modern World." Members received awards for leadership and scholarship while alumnae presented prizes and recognitions to outstanding seniors and juniors.
Mrs Ruth Topsail Nelsonville shares a frying method using pancake flour for fish. She coats washed, dried pieces with salt and peppered pancake flour, fries at medium heat, drains on paper towels, and serves with potatoes or puffs and green salad. A question about oregano is noted. Also, Rev Wesley Dulles will speak with slides at the Albany Way meeting in the Methodist Church at 7 50 pm, open to the public.
