Faculty Eligible For Council In Ohio University System
Mrs. Robert W. Daniel told a legislative group that the secretary of state's opinion allows Ohio University faculty members to be candidates for city council. She cited a 1957 state law and court ruling and noted a faculty member is a state employee, not a state officer, so eligibility extends beyond council president.
