Atlanta Institute Treats Crippled with Advanced Devices

A Gerald reporter tours the Atlanta Surgical Institute a branch of the Indianapolis center, led by Drs. Wilson and Boland. The four story building on Adair Street houses a vast apparatus room baths gymnasium and dining rooms. In two months over 160 paying patients with many charity cases have sought treatment using steam therapy vacuum limbs and rapid motion ratchets. The institute aims to house 100 to 500 patients in Atlanta within a year and has earned endorsements from Indiana leaders.
