The Roundup lists Judge Chaney’s death, pension costs rising, Massachusetts tax quirks, and varied local incidents from Pittsburgh to Marietta and Logan.
Athens and Detroit foresee a Detroit extension of the Columbus and Toledo railroad connecting Delaware with the Hocking Valley coal unions and Detroit lake commerce to swell traffic. W. G. Deshler B. S. Wn D. S. Gray and others have bought many shares of stock in the Columbus and endo railroad. It is thought the stock may reach 120 by July.
