Streamlined Akron-Canton Train Tests Draw Praise
Goodyear-Zeppelin tests its first streamlined train on B&O tracks between Akron and Canton. A three car aluminum design with two end power plants reaches 90 mph and seats 160 passengers. Built for New Haven Hartford, it will serve Boston Providence, featuring two generators and bidirectional operation.
