Medical Building Plan Approved by Athens Planning Commission
The Athens Planning Commission approved a proposed medical building off East State Street near the Hocking River. Muntean Healthcare aims to demolish current structures within about 60 days and start a 16,000 square foot facility housing Muntean Healthcare and Athens Medical Testing, with potential tenants and an adult day care facility discussed as part of the project. The site, at East State Street and East Park Drive, could see construction begin soon, with completion estimated in roughly four years.
