A religious census, the city’s first in years, will be conducted this afternoon from 4 to 6 by a large corps of volunteers. Seventy five workers will canvass four blocks each, gathering names, church affiliations, and Sunday school details, including shut ins and the sick.
Prof Curtis head of the department of business administration arrives to organize the added college program at the University of Georgia. He trained at Nebraska Wesleyan and earned advanced degrees at Wisconsin. The course covers accounting public utilities regulation and government relations focusing on the why rather than the how. He stays with Prof Brooks at the Sanges hotel until housing is secured.
Last night at the tent union meeting Rev Edward Neighbour preached on getting the heart right with God. Using Mathews gospel the sermon urged seeking first the Kingdom of God and urged individuals to give themselves to God. Many responded to the invitation during Just as I Am led by Mr Butler.

They adopted unanimous resolutions to meet in Covington in October next year and praised the city for its hospitality.

Gulf Refining Company suffered a heavy fire at its plant on the Southern Railway tracks north of Seaboard.
