Baltimore Waiter Given Two Year Sentence
John I Fedderman a colored waiter was sentenced to two years in jail by Justice Carr for assaulting Miss Mary White at Mt Holly Inn by hugging and kissing her during a wager. Fedderman claimed the kiss was required to win a dollar and said he had never been arrested before. Miss White a governess at the inn fled in panic and was later found by police.
