The Board invited members to the September eleventh opening reception for Athens Young Women’s Christian Association Athletic Building. The brick Flemish bond structure with gym floor, pool, gallery seating, and seven hundred to a thousand assembly capacity features extensive woodwork, heating in cement, and a planned second building for administration and boarding. The project, designed by Fred Orr, cost about twenty thousand dollars with only two thousand five hundred unpaid, and Mrs. Troutman and the late Mrs. White spearheaded the effort.

Two Patients From Madison County Sent To Milledgeville Sanitarium
