Winnie Davis Hall to Be Turned Over to State Normal School
The Winnie Davis Memorial Hall at the Georgia State Normal School will be formally turned over by the Georgia Division of the Daughters of the Confederacy. Delegates from Atlanta and local Daughters chapters, Confederate veterans, and state officials will attend the ceremony at Memorial Hall with a program including addresses by Chancellor Walter B. Hill and others, a luncheon, and a return trip home this afternoon.

Funeral of Mrs F B Eaves at First Methodist Church
Yesterday at eleven o'clock a funeral was held for Mrs. F B Eaves at the First Methodist Church. Atlanta friends sent floral tributes while Dr W P Lovejoy preached, and the remains were laid to rest in Oconee cemetery.

After three years as executive officer of the battleship Indians at New York Navy Yard, Lieutenant Commander A O Hodgson leaves the vessel. The crew honored him with a loving tribute praising his fatherly care and financial guidance. A luncheon with Captain Emory followed by cheers marked his departure. Hodgson, his wife, and daughter sailed away aboard the ship’s launch.

Arm of Local Man Amputated After Corn Shredder Accident
Ed T. Hale, a 30 year old married man from near Winterville, had his left arm mangled when entangled in a corn shredder. Dr. Carter amputated below the elbow to save his life. He remains in a very serious but hopeful condition.
