The Demon stration Fair by the Ladies Auxiliary of the YMCA opens this morning in the Chamberlin building on Clayton street Athens. It runs through Thursday to Saturday with sixteen city merchants displaying goods from furniture to shoes and groceries. All demonstrations and tastings including electric cooking are free, featuring items from Miller and Dorsey & Funkenstein Palmer's Canning and Orr Drug Co. and Johnson Shoe Co. Highlights include Bludwing's home beverages tastings and aluminum wares by Wr Johnson plus an Electrics cooking display and a dry cleaning showcase by Athens Empire Laundry.

Funeral Yesterday for Mrs I V Bradberry
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 3 from the Benna Vista residence near the Normal school for Mrs. I V Bradberry who died suddenly. A great concourse of friends gathered in tribute to her life. Reverends A J Smith and A J Sears conducted the rites, noting her strong Christian faith and the community’s affection for her.

A special Central of Georgia Railway train from Savannah brought many officials to Athens for a routine inspection of the company’s properties in and around the city. The group included Vice President W A Winburn General Manager T S Moise General Superintendent J T Johnson Freight Traffic Manager C T Airey and Supt H D Pollard. They praised Athens progress and said the line will keep pace with the city in service and accommodation. The visit lasted about thirty minutes.
