Dr. Chas A Nesbitt was elected Synodical Evangelist at 3000 dollars per year. Rev J D McPhail was named special representative for Nacoochee Institute for two months. Commissioners thanked Commerce for hospitality.

Rev C R Nisbet an alum of Georgia and former Atlanta pastor is named head of the Presbyterian synodical evangelistic and home mission work with a headquarters in Atlanta. At Commerce Ga the synod voted unanimous to launch a statewide campaign and raise 4000 dollars to begin the effort. Nisbet is currently a leading Nashville pastor and has deep Georgia ties. The plan unites six presbyteries under one state-wide movement.

Federal Court Ends Brief November Term in Georgia
The Northern district of Georgia federal court adjourned after a three day November term. Judge Newman presided as about forty cases of unlawful mountain dew offenses were dispatched rapidly. Sheriff Jackson moved 35 prisoners to Hall county jail for sentencing. A larger, better court room will be completed by spring with careful progress on the government building.
