Smoking Smiling Old Bill Goes Back to Farm
Special to the Banner Milledgeville Georgia November 6 Old Bill Miner arrived at the state prison farm after being captured by J W Whitten of St Claire. He appeared with a smile and cigar, was shackled and taken to the prison. Tom Moore was buried at Keysville Burke County after his body was turned over to his brother for burial.

Town Marshal Shoots Physician in Colquitt Incident
Dr S T Fortson, a leading Colquitt physician, lies dying from a bullet wound suffered today from Town Marshal Owens. The shooting followed Fortson's prosecution of Owens' son. Fortson was unarmed. Owens is jailed.

Tragic Ginery Accident Claims Grady Deavers Life
At Red Stone on the Gainesville Midland Railway near Athens Grady Hardy Deavers adopted son of Mr and Mrs W J Deavers was caught in belt and shafting at the ginnery. He died within about two hours from extensive injuries including crushed legs and internal damage. Burial planned at Mizpeh church Wednesday.
