G. W. Cloyd of Clunk Missouri described a four year old incident when a jimson bar pierced his thumb. The doctor urged amputation but he refused and used Bucklea’s Arnica Salve bought at W. J. Smith & Bro. and H. R. Palmer & Co., curing the wound. The salve cost 25 cents.
