Jefferson Ga March 11 at the monthly Chamber of Commerce meeting officials urged a new train schedule that would extend Athens time for travelers while keeping Gainesville connection intact. Presently two hours fourteen minutes in Athens fails to meet shoppers and business needs. A revised schedule will be submitted within days to Gainesville Midland authorities. A semiannual Chamber smoker planned for next month will include discussions of local interests and a guest speaker. Two Year Old Dies From Carbolic Acid Incident
Jefferson Georgia March 11 Theron Carter two year old son of Mr and Mrs P A Carter died this afternoon from carbolic acid given by his four year old brother. The children found a vial of poison yesterday and the deadly contents were administered before the mother learned of it. Medical help arrived too late. Mr Carter is son of Capt Carter assistant manager of the Southern Cotton Oil Company. Mrs Carter is daughter of Mr and Mrs V A Niblack. The Carters have the sympathy of many friends.

Two divisions led by Mrs. J Z Hoke and Mrs A S Parker drive a vigorous campaign in Athens Woman's Club adding more than twice as many new members.
