Burial Here Sunday of Miss Nellie Brown
Sunday afternoon marked the burial of Miss Nellie Brown in Oconee cemetery. The body arrived from Atlanta at 3 55 PM and was met by friends of the deceased and her brother Estcott Brown and wife. Pallbearers were J H Dasy A W Vess W H Mines E Arnold D J Cook and I N Butler. A choir of Prof and Mrs Vaughan and Mrs Cole Davis sang at the grave. Rev Dr Lynch of the First Baptist church conducted the service. Miss Brown, once a local teacher, had been training as a missionary before illness.

Dedication plans for St Joseph’s Church on Easter Monday
