The Georgia State High School Association concluded its fourth annual convention with officer elections and district leadership named. sessions covered mathematics history industrial arts English and foreign language with multiple conferences at the University of Georgia and a Friday program featuring round tables and seminars. a banquet at Hotel Georgian and talks by Supt A G Miller and other leaders capped the event drew hundreds of educators from across the state.

Police Seek Would-Be Burglar At Local Real Estate Office
Police are hunting a man seen attempting to force entry at the rear of the Erwin and Company real estate insurance and renting offices on College Avenue. The intruder fled when discovered by Lee Bernard. the rear window was nearly removed. Authorities suspect a possible misentry into a bank or jewelry shop in the block.
