Governor M Daniel was reelected head of the University of Georgia board of trustees for a two year term. T. W. Reed urged extension work and presented state charts. Reports were given by McCants of Dahlonega and Shackelford of the Normal School. A library committee was authorized to build a larger general library and specialized libraries. The board plans to finish its work today.

Death of A. F. Brown Aged 82 at Daughter’s Home
The death of A. F. Brown 82 occurred at his daughter Mrs. W H Thompson’s residence on the Boulevard after a long paralysis illness. Born 1830 in Hart county he lived for decades in Madison and Carlton. He married Alice Maley in 1856. eight children survived him except Mrs Ellen Collins who died in 1902. Funeral to be held Thursday at Carlton noon with arrangements to follow.
