Storm concentrates at Broad Street crossing causing damage
Yesterday afternoon a localized storm center formed at Broad Street cross with Central of Georgia tracks. A large oak toppled blocking traffic and taking down electric lines and wires while telegraph lines also suffered. The street force was called to manage the hazard and avert accidents.

Kemp Seeks Removal of Disbarment After Bar Petition
Atlanta July 21 The general judicial committee of the senate heard William B. Kemp of Wheeler county once a University of Georgia football and baseball star request removal of big disabilities from disbarment. Kemp opposed by the Oconee circuit bar association which urged denial. Kemp claimed the bar petition followed a barbecue where two kegs were present and implied beer influenced action. The panel delayed a final ruling as it weighed Kemp's fourteen counts of alleged malpractice and unprofessional methods.

Left His Wheel theft alarms Athens
Howell Hamilton a postal messenger owned a new forty dollar Motorbike bicycle black with green trimming and a rear package rack. He left it in Mrs. Burt's rear yard yesterday afternoon and returned to find it stolen. Several other bicycles have vanished recently but some have been recovered. The plant manager Mr. George Crane reported the incident and the burns from the current causing no lasting harm.
