Collision Between Street Car And Buggy Blamed On No One
Yesterday afternoon a Milledge avenue street car collided with a buggy and horse near Mr. Vernooy's place. Mrs. J N Carlton and Miss Wofford were aboard the buggy and escaped injury, though the horse was hurt and shafts were broken. Mrs Carlton denied railroad fault and blamed only herself for the mishap.

Excursion Draws Nearly a Thousand to Tallulah Falls
Nearly a thousand people joined Georgia summer school trip to Tallulah Falls yesterday. Athens sent about ten coaches carrying seventy to eighty passengers each. Mrs Mary Burpee Dies in Griffin During Visit to Son
Mrs Mary J Burpee mother of Athens officer Robert Burpee died yesterday morning in Griffin Georgia after a sudden illness. She was born in Augusta and lived most of her life in Athens leaving four daughters and two sons surviving. The body will be sent to Athens for funeral arrangements to be announced in the Banner tomorrow. Mrs Burpee was a member of the Oconee Street Methodist Church.
