Athens to Welcome Governor and Legislature Special Train
The Georgia governor and legislature will arrive in Athens next Saturday aboard a five-coach special train. Large red and black banners will greet the party with lines like Athens Leads the State. Officials from the Chamber of Commerce and Seaboard Railroad organized the trip for a daylong visit, with the train scheduled to reach Athens around eight o'clock after a single stop en route.

Athens Chamber Protests Seaboard Schedule Shift
