Facing Improved Business Aspects in Lawrenceville
LAWRENCEVILLE Ga Busi ness conditions seem to be improving in Lawrenceville and surrounding territory. Bankers merchants and other enterprises report better times than a year ago. Five banks that faced closures last year mostly reopened and met obligations. Merchants anticipate good trade as cotton holdings in planters’ hands rise in price hopes by February. The Lawrenceville manufacturing company resumed operations with about one hundred workers. Farmers are expected to cut the cotton crop next year and diversify. Boll weevil damage this year reduced cotton by at least fifty percent, imposing losses.
