A conference of city businessmen decided to organize the Athena Chamber of Commerce this month. T W Reed and B F Holder Jr will canvass for members today, with monthly dues of one dollar and no other fees. Regular meetings, a permanent secretary, and by laws to govern, with officers elected at the first meeting. The Banner praises the plan and will publish lists of members as organized.

Elks Club Plans Social Session and Banquet
