Mr E P Arthur special representative of the Southern Commercial Congress toured Athens to recruit delegates for the Atlanta conference March 8 to 10. He urged broad county participation and a large student delegation from Auburn and North Carolina colleges. Arthur, a family man with ten children, plans to advertise Georgia roads and strengthen South development through the congress. He met Athens leaders and will meet more before departing.
