Clarence Doster Killed in Seaboard Yard Tragedy
Clarence Doster a 23 year old switchman for the Seaboard Air Line was killed in freight yard injuries after being crushed between two cars in the Foundry Street area. He left a widow Birdie Martin and a young child. Survived by his parents Mr and Mrs Frank Doster three brothers Grady Garnett and Howard and five sisters Irene Allie Viola Daisy and Mrs Henry Daniel. Funeral set for this afternoon at 3 30 from Second Baptist church with Rev Stanley R Grubb and Rev Burrell officiating. Interment in Oconee cemetery pallbearers named Lee Lewis Michael Lewis Paul Smith Adolphus Fletcher W K Hawken and Lamar Simins.
