Funeral of Miss Dorcas Bone Held at Family Cemetery
Miss Dorcas Bone died Tuesday at age eighty one at her sister Mrs Creighton home on Harris street. Funeral services were held yesterday morning at the family cemetery in Blairsville officiated by Rev A J Sears with many friends in attendance. The article notes her sister died the same day.

Jurors return Monday as Athens City Court adjourns
In sessions yesterday the Athens City Court dealt mainly with misdemeanor cases, bond forfeitures, and two acquittals. Long delayed damage suits Hale vs the Mayor and Council were continued awaiting settlement.
