Death of City Hall Janitor After Mobley Attack
Andrew Ross, aged janitor at the city hall, died last night at Dr. Born's sanitarium Lynnwood park following a Saturday night stabbing on Clayton street in front of a near beer saloon. Eyewitnesses linked the Mobley brothers to the cutting. Albert and Tinney Mobley remain jailed as the grand jury planned to hear witnesses and finish its work today. Funeral services set for Friday at 10 from the Catholic church with burial at Oconee cemetery. Ross survived by a wife four daughters three sons and other relatives.

Mrs. N. C. Doster, 69, died after a long illness at her Bogart home just outside the city limits. She was described as an exemplary woman and a “Mother in Israel.” Her funeral was held yesterday at her former Bogart residence.
