War leaders meet in Athens as tensions rise and preparations accelerate for continued combat. Mr I J Bramblett aged over 70 died at his Princeton home after a life marked by strong church and civic work. Born in Gwinnett June 6 1844 he served in the Twenty fourth Georgia in the Civil War losing an arm. He leaves ten children and will be buried at Princeton after a 5 PM funeral service. Lexington on April 4 Special Circuit Court Judge Webb told the Fayette county grand jury he had reliable information that emissaries had been sent to Kentucky to injure the horse industry as part of German propaganda. He urged the jury to uncover spy activities and said that men of this ilk should be shot if necessary.
