Reed Hill Dies on Hunting Trip Near Dale

Reed Hill Athena resident died of heart failure while hunting in the mountains south of the county. Millard Kelly found him on a ridge after he moved toward a deer. The body was moved to Ukiah and Pendleton for funeral arrangements. Survived by four brothers and three sisters. services held in Athena with Masonic rites.

Jens Jensen leaves Athena on Saturday driving his Chevrolet roadster to Boston to visit a brother and two sisters before traveling to Hjortahoj in Denmark. He last visited his homeland 17 years ago and will return to Athena early next spring. He has one brother and six sisters in Denmark.
