Hart Gets Limit For Assault In City Court
Dan Hart paid a $50 fee and court costs to the city treasury and was released after pleading to assault and battery against Charles Matt. Testimony said Hart planned to take Matt into the yard for a beating and attacked him when Matt returned home. Hart claimed Matt and his wife had separated and that he acted after learning of trouble at the Corner Saloon, where owner Clint Thomas struck him.
