At Perry four miles west of La Grande the Grand Ronde Lumber box factory and planing mill burned late tonight. Loss estimated at 25000 dollars with about one third insured. Engine room ignition sparked the blaze. mill buildings filled with dry lumber and shavings. Firemen saved the mill and sheds though 3,000,000 feet of lumber in the yards were threatened.
