Joseph Harper secretary of the Preston Parton Milling Co. suffered a severe accident at the mill when a ladder and sawhorses collapsed, leaving him unconscious for hours. He was taken home to Wellsburg and is reported not improving as expected. Medical staff attended him including Dr. Stone and Dr. Ely.
