In a late afternoon ceremony at a Christian church Minister Haven joined E. Dean Gerthing and Fannie E. Gerking in matrimony beneath a bridal arch. The church glowed with white streamers and potted plants as Lyle Tharp played the choir march. The couple, attended by Miss Fay Gerking and Miss Minnie Tharp as bridesmaids, and Joseph Scott as best man, received many gifts and a post ceremony reception at the Tharp home. They will reside on the west town homestead after April 1.
