Linn county threshers fix wage scale and prices for harvest

Albany dispatch reports Linn county threshers have formed a union to set fixed rates for labor and threshing work this harvest season. Workers receive 1.50 daily plus 2.50 for team use, with machine operators agreeing to a set wage. Threshing prices per sack are 12 cents wheat, 10 cents oats, 10 cents cheat, 11 cents barley, 25 cents for bound oats, and 60 cents for mowed hay.
