Cotton Named to Replace Bellinger as Oregon Judge
W. W. Cotton of Portland has been appointed by President Roosevelt to succeed the late Judge Bellinger as United States district judge for Oregon. He will assume duties September 1 after arranging affairs, with Senator Fulton and the attorney general approving. Christian Church marks reunion with large Pendleton turnout

Pioneer Fanning Pendleton, over 80, dies late forenoon at the J H Raley ranch on McKay creek after years of ill health.
