The Republican state central committee, meeting in Portland, authorized Judge M. G. C. George to call a Portland state assembly on Thursday July 21. It will have 1248 delegates from 84 counties, apportioned by 50 voters or more for R R Butler in 1908. Proxies are barred. absentee delegates may vote per county majorities.

Deadlocked Jury in Hermann Case Faces Second Trial
