James Koontz Dead in San Francisco Funeral Here
James L. Koontz mother of Edward Koontz died April 17 in San Francisco and remains were brought here by Mr Koontz for interment in the Athens cemetery. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon with the anemon preached by Rev W K Armfield of Spokane. The deceased was born in Ohio in 187? and survived by four brothers and two sisters all of whom attended the funeral. He was the son of a pioneer Methodist minister of Mastery Oregon and the family wandered in thievity years ago, visiting here for a time.

Thorn Hollow Bridge To Open In Time For Grain Harvest
