W W Wiley a renowned state educator and former Athena public schools principal died in San Diego California Sunday after a long tuberculous illness. He served as Athena school superintendent 1911 to 1914 and his plans were halted by ill health. Survived by wife four children his widowhood is noted and funeral arrangements to Portland.
