Joon Laird, a Westmont Vermont youth working in Detroit, was robbed in Springfield Illinois last night of 168 dollars, most of his tuition funds for Emporia College. The incident, described with emotion, left him with 15 dollars in hand and a plan to reach Emporia for enrollment. Police pursue possible clues from two men and a Ford touring car.
