Hamilton Seeks Active Civic Interest in Politics
John D. M. Hamilton, Republican gubernatorial candidate, told the Atchison Rotary that an active, intelligent interest in politics is essential to safeguard liberty. He recalled Kansas legislative service, warned Chicago’s fate from apathy, and urged Rotary clubs to promote voter participation and civic duty. Hamilton will also speak at Lincoln School tonight.
