Carl Dingess confirms purchase of Richards Manufacturing Co from Barker Produce Co of Ottumwa Iowa for around the original sale price. He has taken over and begun small scale operations and aims for full production soon, hoping to match or exceed the former 30 to 40 workers. At Fort Riley the Army golf team flew in on seven planes in a fifty mile head wind. They landed at Bush field west of town after a 63 minute flight. Major H. H. Arnold reported takeoff at 7 45 a m and arrival around 8 48 a m. Twelve golfers joined Bellevue Country Club for a 27 hole match, divided into four foursomes including two Bellevue players and two officers. By early afternoon Bellevue led five of eight matches completed.

Bloss Noll Mooney Creek Pioneer Dies at 82
Bloss Noll, 82, Mooney Creek neighborhood pioneer southwest of Atchison, died at his home at 10 this morning after a long illness. Funeral services will be Monday at Corpus Christi church in Mooney Creek. Born February 2, 1846 in Germany, he came to America at 11 and settled in Northeast Kansas, remaining in Mooney Creek ever since. He married Mary Hund in 1873. twelve children were born. Surviving are widow and eight children: Joe Noll Effingham G L Noll Seneca John Will Lawrence Noll Mooney Creek Mrs Tony Haas Mrs Clint Hoffman Dora Noll. One brother Abe Noll also survives.
